Reading the site
The public site does not require an account. This application does not include advertising pixels, behavioural analytics, or public-user tracking cookies. The hosting provider may retain ordinary request logs, including IP addresses and timestamps, according to its configuration.
Maps and typography
The interactive map requests map tiles from the configured basemap provider. The default is OpenStreetMap. Loading a map sends normal web request information, including your IP address, to that provider. See OpenStreetMap Foundation’s privacy policy.
Fonts are served by this website, with system-font fallbacks. No external video or social-media embeds are loaded by this application.
External sources and RSS
Source links open the original publisher’s website, which has its own privacy practices. The RSS feed is public and does not collect email addresses. Your chosen feed reader may process usage information under its own policy.
Editorial access
The private editorial interface uses a signed, time-limited session cookie for authentication. This cookie is separate from public browsing and is removed on sign-out. Administrative actions require authenticated access.
